Home / About Santa Cruz II Galapagos Cruise
The highly advanced Santa Cruz II Galapagos Cruise is an Expedition Vessel specifically designed to operate in isolated regions, making it the perfect vessel for exploring the remote Galapagos Islands. Measuring just under 235 feet (72 meters), this ample, five-deck cruiser has 50 cabins that sleep up to 90 guests and includes extensive indoor and outdoor social areas where guests can enjoy the unbeatable splendor of taking a tour throughout the Galapagos Islands. With some of the latest advances in sustainable sailing, the Santa Cruz II Galapagos Cruise also aims to protect the delicate and beautiful ecosystem that it explores.
Santa Cruz II Galapagos Cruise Highlights
Exclusive Island Visits
Discover the Enchanted Isles the same way the early explorers did, with no other boats in sight! 99% of the visitor sites we tour and explore are not shared with other Galapagos cruises.
Multi-Guided
More guides onboard = smaller groups and a greater selection of activities each day. On average, our Expedition Groups consist of 11 guests per guide (far better than the 16-per-guide maximum established by the Galapagos National Park).
Privacy & Space
One of the top Guest-space Ratios of all Galapagos cruises (29.6:1), with numerous social areas and decks that allow for quiet contemplation, educational lectures, and socializing.
Exquisite Meals
Locally-sourced organic food, a Le Cordon Bleu–trained Gastronomy Director curates a wide variety of culinary options to accommodate all diets during your Galapagos vacation
A LOW-IMPACT CRUISE
Modern engine technology allows for lower fuel consumption. Onboard water desalination and treatment plants help preserve the precious seas of the Galapagos Islands. Recycling waste and efficient energy use are also an integral part of our journeys.
Safe & Competent
Our Galapagos cruise has an onboard medical officer (M.D.) and a well-equipped infirmary that’s available 24/7. So don’t worry about a thing, we’re there for you if you need any help!
