A professional Expedition Photographer is on duty when you reserve your trip with Santa Cruz II Galapagos Cruise, which is an added benefit!

Bigger Boat = Bigger benefits
One of the most prominent vessels that circumnavigate the Enchanted Isles is the Santa Cruz II, an expedition vessel measuring 210 feet (64 meters) in length that has enough space for up to 90 passengers and 60 crew members. Additionally, it has some advantages over smaller boats in the Galapagos. The first and likely most obvious is that because the Santa Cruz II is physically more significant, it is more stable and moves (or rocks) less in response to ocean currents and waves. Large communal spaces also include our library, which features a flat-screen TV, a projector, a coffee station (which can brew ten different kinds of coffee at the push of a button!), a mini-library with a selection of books available for free loan, and numerous couches, chairs, and tables for lounging. A smaller boat would not offer Santa Cruz II’s amenities, which include a gym, two hot tubs, a medical officer on duty around the clock, and a discovery room with activities and movies for the youngsters.

Make sure the unforgettable memories of your Galapagos vacation are recorded by a professional!
Put that selfie stick* away! We’ll take care of capturing the perfect picture for you!
*Please be aware that the Galapagos National Park Rules ban using selfie sticks on the islands.
A professional onboard photographer is an additional perk that our customers receive as part of their Galapagos cruise and excursions, adding significant value to their trip (and all for free!). Our visitors are often thrilled to learn that the Santa Cruz II has a professional, full-time Expedition Photographer who will go on many excursions available on every itinerary with the group. The Expedition Photographer is also available for some extracurricular activities, such as kayaking and even diving (with waterproof cameras and everything)! Furthermore, what more? You can expect a high-quality underwater film of your experiences, captured by our Expedition Photographer, who will be snorkeling all around you to highlight the incredible marine life!
Sharing is Caring: All the Expedition Photos, right at your fingertips when you get home!
The best part is that you will have access to every photo in our slideshow exhibited after the voyage, should you want to allow the aboard Expedition Photographer in Galapagos to take any pictures of you and your family. This slideshow will show our guests photos of all the people who wished to have their photos taken, as well as the breathtaking scenery of the locations you visited and the distinctive and unique species that continue to add to the Galapagos Islands’ exceptional charm. These slideshows will also include brief film segments of the exploits done by snorkelers underwater.

All in all, reflecting on and ending your Galapagos voyage in this manner on the Santa Cruz II is a great pleasure. We take great pleasure in witnessing our guests marvel and celebrate the many experiences and memories they have amassed over their journey with us. Furthermore, by merely providing us with your email address, you will receive access to this content at no additional cost (personal recommendations are always appreciated!). We’ll offer you a link to every high-resolution photo we could take on your specific itinerary a few days after your trip concludes.
When you board the Santa Cruz II Galapagos Cruise, one of the few ships in the Galapagos that offers an onboard expedition photographer, prepare to capture all the beautiful memories of your fantastic trip!
