Many of us have childhood fantasies of being explorers. We have a strong desire to venture outside of our familiar boundaries. It isn’t easy to describe the excitement and joy we get when we try something new or see something unusual. More than anything material, discovering new routes, civilizations, landscapes, and life nourishes our soul and spirit. Many individuals have the Galapagos Islands on their bucket lists because, deep down, we all yearn for an adventure that will awaken our hearts. Perhaps they learned about them from Charles Darwin in biology class or from the news. While there are numerous ways to enjoy an experience, at the end of the day, wherever you are in the Galapagos, small things, like a hot shower, a good meal, and a comfortable bed, can make the most of your trip. Not only do we mean lodging and dining in the Galapagos, but we also mean doing so in a manner reminiscent of Santa Cruz II!

A Hot Shower

There are numerous methods visitors can use to learn about the Galapagos Islands. While some people prefer to explore as much as possible, others prefer to take it leisurely and take in the subtleties of their environment. Regardless of how you spend time in the Galapagos, you will undoubtedly want to take a relaxing shower to decompress after a day of exploring and traveling. Because of their equatorial location, the Galapagos Islands may seem warmer to tourists from colder climates due to their tropical climate. A calming, warm shower to start the day off right can make all the difference!

A Delicious Meal

Then, at lunch, treat yourself to a delectable buffet where everyone will likely find something they like. Do not hesitate to approach the Chef if you need anything special! Guests are welcome to use our hot tub or take a refreshing shower before heading to the dining room in the evening and indulge in a fine dining experience that will tantalize their senses and add even more memories to their journey. Sleeping and eating in the Galapagos – A Comfy Bed

We discover how to value the little things that truly bring us joy when we step outside our comfort zones, including a warm shower, home-cooked meals, and sound sleep. Within the archipelago, a typical day consists of:
– Snorkeling with sea turtles and Galapagos sea lions.
– Walking on white-sand beaches.
– Exploring lava tunnels.
– We are looking for penguins and flightless cormorants (among other species of our BIG15 group of iconic species).
You will undoubtedly feel exhausted at the end of the day because there is so much to see, do, and experience (albeit a contented kind of exhaustion). Guests can return to their cabins and sink into the coziest bed, letting their dreams become filled with recollections of their time spent in the Galapagos after enjoying a great dinner and watching the sunset from our panorama deck.
